Brittany M. Buffington (Yanke), M.A., M.S., PC
Brittany Buffington has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as Sociology from The University of Akron. She has a Professional Counselor (PC) license from the state of Ohio. She has specific training in working with families and couples. She specializes in working with families, young children, couples, adolescents, and pregnant/postpartum clients. Brittany has experience in outpatient, group and community settings. Her focus areas include communication, adjustment issues, mood and anxiety concerns, parenting, maternal depression, blended families, gender issues, early childhood concerns, and grief/bereavement. She has worked with survivors of trauma and abuse. In addition, Brittany is an adjunct faculty in the Department of Sociology at Tri-C.
