Kelly Clapper, M.A. LPCC-S
Kelly Clapper has a Masters degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University and is currently completing a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at Walden University. She is licensed by the State of Ohio (LPCC-S) to practice independently as well as to supervise counselors working toward the independent counseling license. She has 10 years of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults in community mental health settings in individual, family, and group counseling.
Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, social phobia, ADHD, relationships, anger management, social skills, self-esteem, bipolar disorder, trauma, sexual abuse, self-mutilation, eating disorders, parenting skills, family therapy, communication skills, and stress management. She also has an interest in working with mothers that are dealing with issues related to depression and anxiety, along with co-dependency issues. In addition, she has a great working relationship with the local Medina County city schools in order to assist in the facilitation of Multi-factored evaluations and Individualized Education Plans.
