Alexander (Alex) Kukich, MSSA, LISW
My name is Alexander (Alex) Kukich and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio. I have a Master of Science in Social Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University, and I have experience in counseling adults. I have a particular interest in helping young adults as they navigate the often overwhelming transition of college life and the uncertainty that can follow after graduation. During our sessions, we will work together to develop coping skills and set achievable goals to navigate academic, emotional, and life challenges.
I strive to provide a non-judgmental environment so you can feel as comfortable as possible discussing whatever issues you are facing. My therapeutic approach involves identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. My goal is to provide you with the skills necessary to navigate current obstacles and to develop a method to tackle problems in the future. In addition to working with a variety of mental health concerns, I have experience working with anxiety, depression, mood, adjustment disorders, and anger management. I also like to incorporate mindfulness in therapy sessions by using techniques like meditation, which will allow you to focus on the present moment with acceptance and not with judgment.
In my free time, I enjoy going to amusement parks, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
